The Loogman Group adds recycling deposits at car wash location

Drivers can now safely recycle their waste while completing a car wash, helping to prevent pollution.
The Loogman Group has installed a deposit machine for recyclable bottles and cans at one of its car washes in Aalsmeer.
Partnering with Statiegeld Nederland, the company is among the first car wash chains to offer this service. Customers can now easily recycle their bottles and cans and choose to keep the deposit money in their Tikkie wallets or donate it to a charity.
"This partnership fits perfectly with our vision to develop into a maximally automated car wash in a sustainable 'Loogman world' over the next 10 years. Together we make recycling more accessible for a cleaner future," said Justin Rauwers, Regional Manager at Loogman Group.
Consumers often take drinks on the go or get them at gas stations, resulting in empty bottles or cans left in their cars. These items are typically cleaned out during car washes, which can hinder proper recycling.
Statiegeld Nederland has developed a toolkit for service stations to serve as collection points for this type of waste. Thanks to its partnership with the Loogman Group, this recycling option is now available also at car washes.
