Powered by green electricity, this new site expands the company’s fast-charging network across Germany.

EnBW has launched another fast-charging park located on the A1 highway in Lower Saxony and equipped with 14 fast-charging points.
Like the rest of the company’s charging network in Germany, all points are powered by 100% green electricity. Depending on the vehicle, drivers can charge up to 400 kilometers of range in just 20 minutes with an output of up to 300 kilowatts.
“Large charging parks along long-distance routes are key success factors in the further expansion of the fast-charging infrastructure. They offer many charging points with high power for fast intermediate charging on long journeys,” says Jürgen Stein, Chief Innovation & New Business Officer at EnBW and e-mobility responsible.
With over 5,000 fast-charging points nationwide, EnBW operates the largest fast-charging network in Germany. The company is expanding the fast-charging infrastructure in places where drivers can conveniently integrate charging into their everyday lives - not only in long-distance transport, but also in cities and at retail outlets.
The company aims to operate around 30,000 fast-charging points by 2030 and thus increase its capacity six-fold compared to today. It is investing around €200 million a year to achieve this.
