The EnBW HyperNetz now offers access to more than 700,000 charging points in 17 European countries.

Customers can use the EnBW mobility+ app to find and use the more than 5,000 EnBW-owned charging points in Germany as well as charging points from hundreds of other charging infrastructure operators. The company already operates one of the largest fast-charging networks in Germany and is driving forward its expansion.

EnBW aims to operate 30,000 fast-charging points in Germany by 2030 and is investing around €200 million euros a year to achieve this.

“With our multi-award-winning EnBW mobility+ app, we offer a comprehensive solution for easy charging in everyday life and on the move,” says Jürgen Stein, Chief Innovation & New Business Officer at EnBW and responsible for the area of e-mobility.

In 2017, the energy company made the first version of the EnBW mobility+ app available, at that time with access to 8,000 charging points in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The number of available charging points and connected countries in the EnBW HyperGrid has increased rapidly over the past seven years.

In future, the firm is set to focus on the data quality of the connected roaming partners so that customers can continue to charge reliably.
