Four new locations will be established in Bavaria and one in Hesse, amounting to a total of 68 additional fast-charging points with solar roofs for long-distance transport.

EnBW has started the construction of five further fast-charging parks in Bavaria and Hesse, growing its charging network across Germany by 68 new fast charging points.
All five locations are scheduled to start operations this year, with the possibility of expanding up to over 100 charging points if necessary. Charging capacity available at these locations will be up to 400 kilowatts and the solar energy generated from the roof’s photovoltaic system will provide 100% green electricity.
The charging site in Hesse and two in Bavaria are equipped with 16 charging points, while the remaining two feature 8 and 12 charging points. Each site can be expanded with up to eight additional charging solutions.
With over 5,000 fast-charging points, the energy company operates the largest fast-charging network in Germany. EnBW plans to expand its nationwide charging network to around 30,000 fast-charging points by 2030 through a yearly €200 million investment.
