The REWE ready convenience store has around 250 items for on-the-go refreshments and selected groceries at the largest fast-charging park in the charging operator’s network.

EnBW has welcomed a new REWE ready smart store located in its fast-charging park in Kamen, the first of its kind from Lekkerland, a subsidiary of the REWE Group.
The store is equipped with AI-cameras that enable a frictionless experience for customers, debiting the purchase amount as soon as they leave the shop. Equipped with 52 high-power charging points for ultra-fast charging with up to 400 kilowatts of power, the site opened in 2021 and is the company's largest location of its entire charging network.
“The practical store solution from our partner Lekkerland not only offers a comprehensive range of food. It is also based on a fully digital concept for a special shopping experience, which is now also available to our customers,” said Volker Rimpler, Vice President E-Mobility Construction & Rollout at EnBW.
The unmanned store offers a range of around 250 products, including various specialty coffees, sandwiches, wraps and salads as well as chilled drinks, ice cream and sweet and savory snacks.
“With the 'Smart BOX' concept used here, we are using the most sophisticated smart store technology with AI to offer the most convenient shopping experience possible,” added Mehmet Töze, Vice President Smart Stores at Lekkerland.
With the new opening in Kamen, Lekkerland now operates unmanned stores at three fast-charging parks. Currently, the EnBW HyperNetz offers drivers access to more than 700,000 charging points in Europe, according to the company’s website.
