HTWO Energy Savannah to power zero-emission logistics near Port of Savannah with scalable hydrogen and future EV charging capabilities.

Hyundai announced the launch of HTWO Energy Savannah, the industry’s first dual-energy refueling station designed to support both hydrogen fuel cell and electric heavy-duty vehicles.
The facility will serve the company’s new Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) and is poised to play a key role in creating a clean logistics ecosystem near the Port of Savannah. Unveiled at the 2025 Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, the project is a collaboration between HTWO Logistics (fleet operations), HydroFleet (hydrogen refueling), and Capital Development Partners (site development). Construction is set to be completed by late fall 2025.
“HTWO Energy Savannah is a breakthrough hydrogen production and refueling station for the heavy-duty trucking industry. It supports our goal of building a clean, zero-emissions logistics hub around HMGMA,” said Jim Park, SVP of commercial vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell business at Hyundai Motor North America.
The station’s first phase will feature on-site hydrogen production and dispensing infrastructure capable of delivering 1,200 kilograms of hydrogen per day.
The facility is designed to scale up to 4,200 kilograms per day as regional demand grows. Phase two will introduce EV charging capabilities for commercial fleets, completing the dual-energy offering.
