bp bioenergy HVO is aimed at reducing CO2e emissions from heavy-duty transport fleets.

bp launches bp bioenergy HVO in Spain aimed at heavy-duty road transport. The renewable diesel will be available at selected service stations.
The fuel is initially available at four service stations, located in Madrid, Valencia and Navarre. bp will study the possibility of extending the availability of HVO to more points of sale in 2025.
“With bp bioenergy HVO, we are complementing our traditional commercial offering to remain the first choice for our fleet customers, who now have access to a fuel derived from renewable sources that is low-carbon and can be used as a direct substitute for diesel in compatible vehicles,” said Ivan Soler, bp's senior director of fleet sales in Europe.
The pilot project in Spain follows the introduction of bp bioenergy HVO at filling stations in other European countries, including the UK, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands.
