bp pulse has signed a strategic agreement with Waffle House to deploy ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at diner locations across Texas, Georgia, and Florida.

The partnership aims to increase access to convenient charging solutions along key travel corridors. Each site will host six 400kW DC fast chargers equipped with both CCS and NACS connectors, enabling compatibility with a wide range of electric vehicles.

The first charging stations are set to go live in 2026, offering drivers a chance to charge quickly while enjoying Waffle House’s 24/7 service.

“Adding an iconic landmark like Waffle House to our growing portfolio of EV charging sites is such an exciting opportunity. We’re building a robust network of ultrafast chargers co-located with customer-friendly amenities,” said Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse US.

The agreement reflects bp pulse’s broader strategy to expand its EV charging footprint through third-party partnerships and new-to-industry builds.

Previous efforts include hubs near airports in collaboration with Hertz, as well as installations at TravelCenters of America, Thorntons, and Amoco — part of bp’s network of over 8,000 retail sites nationwide.
