Circle K has announced the acquisition of fifteen gas stations from Hanex Hospitality B.V., all located in the southern part of the Netherlands.

This move is part of the brand's ongoing investment strategy to strengthen its presence in the Dutch market. All manned locations include thirteen Shell stations, one Esso station, and one TotalEnergies station. With this acquisition, the company’s network in the Netherlands will grow to 389 locations.

“These investments include expanding our network with new locations, upgrading and developing existing stations with Circle K’s shop, drinks, food, and carwash concepts, as well as investing in electric vehicle charging,” detailed Nathalie Baras, Vice President of Circle K in the Netherlands.

The approximately 140 employees currently working at these stations will be transferred to Circle K. The company is still considering under which brand name the newly acquired stations will operate in the future.
