GS25 has teamed up with fashion platform Musinsa to introduce its private brand products across convenience stores.

This collaboration, set to begin next month, will see GS Retail sell ‘Musinsa Standard’ brand t-shirts and other items at its 3,000 locations throughout South Korea. The partnership aims to enhance product differentiation and expand offline touchpoints, although a GS official mentioned to ChosunBiz that discussions are still ongoing regarding the final details of the agreement.

Products will be displayed directly on shelves in-store, rather than online, including exclusive ‘Musinsa Standard Express’ apparel.

This marks the first time the fashion brand has extended its private label products to external distribution channels. Until now, the company has only sold these items through its own platform and physical stores, including shop-in-shop spaces within malls.

For GS25, this presents an opportunity to enhance its product offerings and competitiveness. With the retailer’s network of 18,000 locations, the collaboration is expected to resonate strongly with Musinsa’s target audience, primarily individuals in their teens to 30s, a demographic that overlaps with c-store customers.
