HIF Global has signed a new e-Fuels supply agreement with Porsche AG and Shell to deliver e-Gasoline produced at the Haru Oni e-Fuels facility in Punta Arenas, Chile.

Under the agreement, HIF Chile, a subsidiary of HIF Global, will supply e-Gasoline to Shell’s Technology Centre in Hamburg, Germany. The facility will blend the fuel to be later used by Porsche in lighthouse events designed to highlight the viability of e-Fuels in internal combustion engines.

“This collaboration with Porsche and Shell showcases the potential of e-Gasoline as we continue building large-scale sustainable fuel solutions across the globe,” said Cesar Norton, President & CEO of HIF Global.

The project is viewed as a critical step in scaling up e-Fuel production technologies and building a global infrastructure for synthetic fuels. HIF is currently developing commercial-scale e-Fuel facilities in Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Australia, and the United States.
