Love’s celebrates first opening of 2025

The new Virginia location adds 85 jobs and 93 truck parking spaces to meet the demands of truck drivers, travelers and RVers.

Love’s Travel Stops is expanding its network in the Southwestern area of Virginia with the addition of a new travel stop in Elliston. 

Located along Interstate 81, this over 1,300 m2 store is the chain’s first travel stop to open in 2025. The site adds 93 truck parking spaces and other amenities for professional drivers, four-wheel customers and RVers traveling Interstate 81 as well as local community members.

Food options include Love’s Fresh Kitchen, Arby’s and the area’s first Dunkin’ Donuts. Other amenities include seven showers, laundry facilities, CAT Scale, a dog park and self-checkout options.

With Claytor Lake State Park just a half-hour drive away; Elliston is an ideal location for Love’s growing RV network. That is why this site includes six RV hookups and additional RV parking spaces, an RV dump and private showers.

In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will donate $2,500 to Shawsville Middle School and $2,500 to Eastern Montgomery Elementary School.
