Alimentation Couche-Tard’s Circle K has appointed Mette Uglebjerg as the new Senior Vice President (SVP) for Global Marketing and Food Business. This new appointment places the executive at the helm of overseeing marketing strategies and the food segment for over 16,700 stores in 31 markets globally.

Uglebjerg brings a wealth of experience from within the company. Since 2018, she has led Circle K’s operations in Denmark and recently held a regional leadership role overseeing business units in Ireland, the Baltics, and Poland. Over the past year and a half, the new SVP has worked closely on the integration of new business units in Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Belgium.

Peter Rasmussen has now taken over leadership in Denmark, ensuring continuity for the local market. The outgoing leader expressed gratitude towards her European colleagues for their contributions over the years.

The move underscores Circle K's ambition to bolster its global food and marketing strategies, further enhancing its presence in key markets around the world.
