NACS Show 2024: State of the Industry

The NACS Show and PEI Convention welcomed over 1,190 exhibitors from around the world, demonstrating why it is considered one of the industry’s most comprehensive events. Our second report focuses on the latest trends and technologies showcased at the event.
A record 26,124 attendees experienced four days of education, networking, and insights into the latest trends in the global convenience and fuel retailing industry.
Total attendance was 8.5% higher than last year and 3.8% greater than the previous record set in 2018.
The Las Vegas Convention Center featured 1,190 exhibitors across more than 4,0645 m2 of exhibition space, showcasing their latest products and innovations in technology, fuel equipment, in-store merchandise, store operations, and food services. Among the attendees, 8,811 were classified as “buyers,” representing 68 countries.
The NACS Show’s 52 Education Sessions, designed by retailers for retailers, had strong attendance counts, averaging more than 230 attendees per session.
Grupo Forte and YPF were the 2024 winners of the Convenience Retailer of the Year Award Latin America. Executives from both companies were recognized among their convenience retail peers during the Global Colleagues Reception on October 8. Meanwhile, Yesway and Weigel’s were honored with the Fuels Innovator of the Year Awards, presented by Fuels Market News Magazine.
