Effective November 1, 2024, Rostislav Moravec has taken over as the new director of the Orlen fuel retail network in Czechia.

He will be succeeding Vladimír Dočekal, who has moved to manage the Orlen network of service stations in Hungary. Moravec brings extensive experience in retail management to his new role, having spent 17 years in senior positions at AHOLD and four years as commerce manager at OMV Czech Republic.

Most recently, he served on the Board of Directors at Sportisimo, overseeing its retail operations.

As Moravec steps into his role, he will be responsible for developing modern infrastructure and maintaining a strong market position. The strategy also includes adapting the Stop Café concept to meet evolving customer needs.

The Orlen network in Czechia is part of the Orlen Unipetrol Group, which operates across seven countries, ensuring a strong presence in the European fuel market. The company’s entire network comprises 3,500 sites.
