Oxxo has made a significant move to enhance its foodvenience proposition by welcoming Ditsch, a German leading supplier of pretzels, croissants, sandwiches, and pizza.

Ditsch, owned by Valora, has a solid presence in Germany and the United States, and aims to introduce a new store-in-store concept, with an outlet inside a store. This location will feature the brand's products, all made in Germany, along with a specially curated menu for the Mexican market, including spicy jalapeño pizzas, pretzel cheese sticks with sausage, and sweet bites, among other items.

This pilot project, located at the Oxxo Tamazunchale store in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, marks the first of its kind and a second location is set to open in spring.

"This partnership reflects our commitment to providing the best experience with products that meet the tastes of our consumers and current market trends," said Ximena Reynoard, Director of Foodservice at Oxxo Mexico.

The collaboration leverages the international expertise of both companies to meet the growing demands of consumers in Mexico. It reinforces the retailer's value proposition by offering fast and accessible food options that are adapted to local preferences.

With this partnership, Ditsch is set to transform the consumer experience at Oxxo with options that aim to bring a unique international touch.
