Partnership would make Tims the country’s largest restaurant provider of public EV fast charging.

Tim Hortons has announced a national partnership with Quebec-based FLO to install fast electric vehicle (EV) chargers at 100 restaurants by the end of 2028, a move that would make the chain the largest restaurant provider of public EV fast charging in Canada.
The first chargers under the agreement are already operational at a Tims restaurant in Regina, Saskatchewan, with installations planned at up to 13 additional locations by year-end. By the end of 2026, 50 sites are expected to be live, each featuring an average of four ports.
“We’re thrilled to partner with FLO to make life a little easier for guests driving electric vehicles,” said Hope Bagozzi, Chief Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons. “Whether it’s grabbing a coffee and a charge before work, or taking a break on a road trip, we want every Tims Run to be convenient, welcoming, and a highlight of the journey.”
The chargers will include the FLO Ultra™, capable of delivering up to 120 km (75 miles) of range in just 10 minutes.
Louis Tremblay, President and CEO of FLO, said the collaboration is a milestone in normalizing EV charging: “By installing FLO Ultra chargers at trusted, high-traffic locations, we’re delivering the reliable infrastructure Canadians need to confidently make the switch to electric mobility.”
The rollout also ties into FLO’s agreement with the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB), which has committed $235 million to help bring more than 1,900 fast charging ports online across the country.
