AS VIRŠI-A has opened its second full-service facility in Salaspils, after an investment of €1.9 million to build the facility in an area of 9,360 m2.

The site creates a convenient place for drivers to stop on their way to Riga, providing a wide range of shopping facilities and a comfortable indoor and outdoor seating area. In addition, the site offers both fuel and charging services, with charging capabilities available for three electric vehicles (EV) at the same time.

The roof of the service station is equipped with solar panels to convert photovoltaic energy into electricity for the facility’s own consumption.

“We are continuing the rapid growth dynamics of the company by opening our fourth outlet this year. In July we plan to open our first service station in Lithuania, thus moving towards our strategic goal of providing customers with at least 90 points of sale by the end of 2026,” said Jānis Vība, Chairman of the Board at Virši.

“Virši Salaspils 2” offers automatic refueling with the most popular options (95 and 98 petrol, diesel, Adblue), as well as dispensable windscreen fluid. The site also features a spacious car park that can comfortably accommodate up to 14 cars and four trucks.

Currently, Virši has 79 locations across the country, 76 of which are service stations, and employs more than 800 people across Latvia.
