Circle K has reached a new milestone in Denmark with the launch of its 500th fast charging point at Nordhøj in Køge.

This achievement follows a rapid expansion that began nearly four years ago when the brand opened its first charging station in Slet, Aarhus, in 2020. Since then, the company has accelerated the installation of fast chargers, which has become a core part of its strategy to support the transition to greener energy.

Circle K initially focused on 300 kW fast chargers and today offers up to 400 kW, ensuring that each station can provide a fast charging experience.

“The opening of 500 fast charging points is an important milestone for Circle K, reinforcing our ambitions to transition to the future of fueling stations, tailored to the new green infrastructure,” said Trine Vendelboe, Product Manager for Electric at Circle K.

After achieving this milestone, the company has increased its targets for charging infrastructure installation. It is now aiming to install a total of 2,000 charging points by 2030, 700 more than originally planned according to Vendelboe.

This investment highlights Circle K’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience while supporting the growth of e-mobility in Denmark.
