New feature offers greater flexibility for fuel, store, and service purchases across Argentina.

YPF Digital has introduced a new feature to its YPF app, allowing users to pay in U.S. dollars (USD) for fuel, purchases at FULL convenience stores, and services at YPF Boxes across its nationwide service station network.
The innovation expands the capabilities of the platform’s Dinero en Cuenta (DeC) digital wallet, giving customers more flexibility and choice in how they manage their spending. To use the feature, users must have DeC enabled and have a USD bank account in their name. They can then transfer funds to YDI’s USD current account at Banco Santander Argentina.
“Dollar payments give our customers greater flexibility and transparency when deciding how to manage their purchases at our service stations,” said Guillermo Garat, President of YDI. “We are introducing a secure, efficient solution supported by Banco Santander Argentina, one that adapts to each user’s needs and reinforces our commitment to continually innovate the digital experience for YPF customers.”
During each transaction, the YPF App will display the equivalent amount in pesos and the reference exchange rate applied, which will correspond to the official Banco Nación buyer’s rate.
Funds in dollars can be used exclusively within the YPF ecosystem and are not considered currency exchange operations, as there is no purchase or sale of foreign currency involved. Cash withdrawals, third-party transfers, or mixed payments will not be permitted. In the event of a refund, the amount will only be returned to the same bank account from which the original transfer was made.
