Kia has delivered 235 electrified vehicles to Endesa as part of the company’s ongoing fleet renewal plan for 2024.

This latest addition, which represents nearly 40% of the fleet overhaul, includes a mix of fully electric and hybrid vehicles, with a focus on sustainability and increased electrification. By the end of the year, Endesa aims to double its number of fully electric vehicles and increase its plug-in hybrid fleet by 24%.

Endesa’s fleet electrification journey began over a decade ago, and the company is now reaching a significant milestone with 70% of its fleet set to be electrified by the end of 2024.

“This year, we are making significant progress in the electrification of our fleet, increasing from 56% to 70%. We are renewing 40% of our fleet with more sustainable vehicles in just one year, and we continue to search for solutions that will allow us to reach 100% electrification, especially for vehicles that are still difficult to electrify, such as those in the off-road segment,” said Pablo Samaura, Head of Corporate Mobility at Endesa.

The partnership with Kia is helping accelerate this transformation, supported by Kia’s broad range of electrified vehicles, which includes 17 different models across the most popular segments in the market.

Endesa plans to continue expanding its electrified fleet with a focus on environmental and financial sustainability in the coming years.
