ENOC Group has been recognized for its sustainability efforts at the 2024 edition of the ideasUK Idea of the Year Competition. This year’s event, themed "Resilience through Innovation," highlighted ENOC’s groundbreaking green hydrogen station, located at the Service Station of the Future (SSoF) in Expo City Dubai.

The station is the first in the region to offer a combination of green hydrogen, conventional fuels, and electric vehicle charging. Inaugurated during COP28, this innovative project aligns with the UAE’s National Hydrogen Strategy 2050, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global leader in sustainability.

“This prestigious recognition from ideasUK affirms our dedication to driving sustainable and innovative energy solutions, such as green hydrogen, which we see as pivotal to a cleaner and greener future. At ENOC, we remain committed to advancing solutions that contribute to a sustainable tomorrow,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC.

The green hydrogen station is powered by hydrogen produced at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, exemplifying an integrated renewable energy solution. The station can refuel up to 25 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) in approximately seven minutes, offering dual fueling pressures of 350 and 700 bar, enabling scalability for future demands.
