ENOC unlocks pay-by-plate across UAE service stations

New collaboration with Salik enhances customer convenience with plate-based recognition system.

ENOC Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Salik Company PJSC to introduce smart, seamless payment solutions across its network of service stations. 

Under the partnership, customers refueling at the stations will be able to pay automatically using Salik’s e-wallet system, powered by Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. The solution removes the need for traditional payment methods by deducting the transaction amount directly from the customer’s Salik balance.

“By leveraging Salik’s innovative technology and expertise, we aim to provide a seamless and convenient payment experience while exploring new ways to deliver added value to our customers,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC.

Both companies will jointly launch marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the new digital features, developed in accordance with the highest standards of security and data protection. The partnership also includes plans for technical integration and a phased rollout across the chain’s wider service station network.

This collaboration reinforces ENOC’s commitment to customer-centric innovation and aligns with the Group’s broader vision to support the UAE’s transformation into a connected, future-ready economy.
