Ohio-based convenience retailer expands footprint through strategic acquisition.

Good Oil Company, Inc. has acquired the retail convenience assets of Big Mike’s Gas N Go, LLC, a respected niche operator known for its high-performing stores in the Dayton and Cincinnati markets.
The deal marks Good Oil’s entry into the southwest Ohio region and represents a significant step in its growth strategy.
Founded in 2008 by Mike Schueler, President and CEO of The Schueler Group, Big Mike’s has built a strong reputation for quality customer service, strategic site selection, and modern, well-maintained convenience stores.
Starting with two locations in Troy and Tipp City, Ohio, Schueler applied his expertise in real estate development to grow a successful chain focused on customer experience, staff engagement, and expansive retail offerings.
With the acquisition, Good Oil gains a portfolio of established, well-located stores that align with its own values and commitment to service excellence. The move strengthens its market position and brings the company into a new and dynamic regional market.
Mike Schueler welcomed the new partnership, noting, “We’re proud of what we’ve built at Big Mike’s and are confident that Good Oil will continue to serve our communities with the same care and commitment.”
