The retailer will expand its footprint with three new c-stores based in Montana and 46 dealer accounts.

Montana-based Hi-Noon Petroleum announced that it has sold its convenience retail, dealer wholesale, and transportation assets to Jacksons Food Stores.
The transaction includes three convenience retail stores, 46 dealer accounts, and Hi-Noon’s entire fleet of transportation assets. Spanning nearly 50 years of operations, the company has grown to become one of Montana’s most prominent distributors of branded motor fuels.
Jackson Energy and Jacksons Food Stores own, operate, and supply stores across ten western states, supplying fuel through the former to customers and the latter’s locations.
The decision was made by Dirk Cooper, who entered Hi-Noon in 2003 as CFO to assist in restructuring it. Aftering acquiring it from its founder, William J. Nooney in 2015, Dirk’s tenure focused on improving operations and securing its position as the leading provider of branded fuels in the greater Missoula area.
This deal will grow Jacksons’ retail network of over 300 locations across eight states. Apart from Montana, the company is currently operating in Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, California and Utah.
