Majors Management has announced the acquisition of four Mac's Food Stores in Aberdeen, Pinehurst, and Southern Pines, North Carolina, from affiliates of McNeill Oil Company, Inc.

The move is part of a major expansion strategy by Majors, as it has recently acquired several locations to expand its retail footprint across the United States.Currently, the company also distributes branded and unbranded motor fuels to over 1,400 convenience store locations throughout the country.

"This was a difficult decision, as these locations have been part of our company for decades. However, we were fortunate to work with a partner like Majors Management. Their experience, professionalism, and speed allowed us to finalize this transaction smoothly and efficiently," said Frank McNeill, President of McNeill Oil.

This acquisition results in McNeill’s exit from the convenience store sector, which adds up to the market’s recent trend of family-owned businesses divesting its assets to other players.

"We are thrilled to strengthen our footprint in North Carolina by adding these sites to our growing network. It was a privilege to work closely with the McNeill team to complete this transaction quickly and seamlessly. Our shared priority has been to ensure there was no disruption to business or customers," added Ben Smith, President of Majors.

Majors' current markets include Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, North Carolina, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
