The company has opened a new service station as part of the planned 12 locations to be inaugurated nationwide.

Vivo Energy Mozambique has inaugurated a new service station in Mumemo, Marracuene, as part of its partnership with fuel and lubricants distribution company Camel Oil.
This new collaboration involves 12 stations in the Maputo province. This expands the fuel retail network to 58 locations nationwide for the representative of the Engen brand and authorized distributor of Shell lubricants, strengthening its presence in the Mozambican market.
“This partnership with Camel Oil goes beyond simply expanding our network; it is part of our commitment to be ever closer to our customers, offering excellent services and contributing to the socio-economic development of the communities where we operate,” said João Oliveira e Sousa, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Mozambique.
During his speech at the inauguration, Oliveira e Sousa pointed out that, of the 12 filling stations involved in this partnership, five are already in operation while three are under construction and/or in refurbishment until the end of 2024. The remaining four should be operational in early 2025.
Since its entry on the Mozambican market in March 2019, following the acquisition of Engen, Vivo Energy Mozambique has seen significant growth, expanding from 19 stations in 2019 to 58 today, with a presence in all provinces of the country.
