Allego, Electra, Fastned, Powerdot, Tesla, and Zunder have joined forces to accelerate the transformation towards electric mobility in Spain with the launch of the Association of Ultra-Fast Charging Operators (AORU).
The association aims to address regulatory and administrative challenges to ensure legal certainty and provide a regulatory framework that offers confidence to investors, businesses, and drivers. The founding members are committed to the development and consolidation of sustainable e-mobility in Spain.
AORU represents the industry's commitment to a more sustainable future, aiming to ensure that by 2030, Spain will have a robust charging infrastructure that meets user needs.
The association will focus on representing the ultra-fast charging sector, promoting transparency and advocating for policies that advance e-mobility.
Additionally, AORU reaffirms its full collaboration commitment with AEDIVE (the Spanish Electric Mobility Association), of which all the founding members will continue to be part. Together, both associations will work to maximize the impact of their actions, benefiting end-users and enabling a faster, more efficient, and sustainable energy transition.
