Circle K is set to improve store performance across its European network of stores by leveraging deeper insights into supply chain

The company aims to improve product availability and customer satisfaction, as it focuses on making travel easier for customers by offering convenient stops at 4,800 stores operating throughout the continent. As such, there was the requirement for a tool that provided a comprehensive view and automatic analysis into product availability issues to address root causes of stockouts and increased availability.

To achieve this, the retailer has expanded its collaboration with RELEX Solutions by implementing the company’s RELEX Diagnostics solution.

“This solution will allow us to achieve better alignment with our demand forecast to enhance our store performance and ultimately ensure that our customers always find the products they need when they visit Circle K,” said Ole Christian Remen, Head of Supply Chain and Merchandising Support for Europe at Circle K.

The company will now be able to access deeper insights into its network, such as root-causing that spans end-to-end operations, if pack size is causing issues or in-store balance corrections are affecting KPIs.

Circle K offers a variety of perishable and fast-selling products, and with this added end-to-end visibility, the chain can take steps towards more precise management of inventory for improved KPIs.
