ENOC Group has been awarded the Sharjah Sustainability Award by the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) for its service station of the future, a fully functioning service station that incorporates multiple sources of energy and is setting the benchmark for sustainable fuel delivery.

The award was received by Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director of ENOC Retail, in the presence of key stakeholders from the sustainability and environmental sectors.

The Sharjah Sustainability Award, now in its 13th edition, recognises exceptional initiatives that promote environmental stewardship, sustainability innovation, and conservation practices.

“We are immensely proud to receive the award. This recognition reflects our steadfast commitment to pioneering sustainable and innovative solutions within the energy sector,” said Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC.

ENOC’s service station of the future represents a strategic leap in the Group’s sustainability journey, aligning with national priorities such as the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative. Other environmental initiatives by ENOC include launching the region’s first solar-powered lubricants blending plant, pioneering biodiesel initiatives, developing green hydrogen mobility solutions, and operating multiple solar-integrated fuel stations across the UAE.
