Love’s Travel Stops opened two new locations last week in Wilmington, Illinois, and Carlin, Nevada, strengthening its nationwide footprint.

The expansion introduces a total of 140 new truck parking spaces and 110 jobs, reinforcing Love’s commitment to providing essential services and economic growth across the country. Both travel stops span more than 14,500 square feet and are equipped with a full suite of amenities designed for comfort, convenience, and efficiency.

Each new site features Love’s signature Fresh Kitchen, offering freshly prepared meals including salads, sandwiches, and fruit. The Wilmington location includes a Hardee’s, while Carlin offers a Carl’s Jr., underlining Love’s position as one of the nation’s leading foodservice operators.

In anticipation of evolving mobility trends, space for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations has been allocated at both stores, enabling swift integration pending customer demand and utility coordination.

Beyond food and fuel, both stops cater to professional drivers with essential services such as diesel bays, showers, self-checkout, and pet-friendly amenities. Carlin’s site also includes RV hookups and an RV dump, enhancing its appeal to cross-country travelers.

To mark the openings, Love’s is supporting local communities with charitable contributions. In Wilmington, the company is donating $5,000 each to Kuzma Care Cottage Food Pantry and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. In Carlin, $5,000 will go to Carlin Combined Schools and another $5,000 to Primary Children’s Hospital.
