ORLEN expands sales of HVO100 diesel across Czech filling stations
Last update: Sep 26, 2025
The company plans to supply the low-carbon fuel at around ten stations by 2026.

ORLEN Unipetrol is pushing ahead with its roll-out of fully synthetic diesel fuel HVO100 to additional service stations in the Czech Republic, following a successful pilot in Rokycany. The company says that by early 2026 it plans to supply the low-carbon fuel at around ten stations.
In the latest expansion phase, the company has already activated HVO100 sales at its Cheb station on the city bypass, with additional sites on the D5 and D8 motorways and in Prague slated for September–October.
ORLEN has also retooled its Pardubice terminal for distribution and added HVO100 to its wholesale offerings. While the network currently includes some stations in Germany and Austria offering HVO100, the Czech expansion comes at a time when ORLEN and Czech authorities are under scrutiny to deliver real reductions in transport emissions.
The initiative dovetails with ORLEN’s stated target of cutting CO₂ emissions by 25% by 2030 compared with 2019 levels and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
