TotalEnergies has installed 40 new electric vehicle (EV) charging points at two major shopping centers in Brandenburg, Germany.
Customers at Kaufpark Eiche in Ahrensfelde and Havelpark Dallgow in Dallgow-Döberitz can now access four high-power chargers delivering up to 200 kW and six providing 50 kW at each location. As part of its ongoing partnership with real estate investment manager Redevco and shopping center operator ECE Marketplaces, TotalEnergies will soon add another 18 charging points at the Wust Shopping Center.
“Partnerships with owners and operators of high-traffic locations are essential to accelerating e-mobility in Germany. Our goal is to offer convenient, high-quality charging solutions wherever customers can seamlessly integrate charging into their daily routines,” said Jan Petersen, Managing Director at TotalEnergies Charging Solutions Deutschland GmbH.
In addition to outfitting shopping centers and supermarkets, the company was awarded contracts under Germany’s 2023 Deutschlandnetz initiative to install and operate 1,100 fast-charging points across 134 sites in rural, suburban, and urban areas.
TotalEnergies currently operates a network of over 7,000 charging points across Germany.
