The company and its consortium partners will use the grant to establish H2 refueling stations across Venlo and purchase hydrogen-powered vehicles for logistics partners.

Vissers Energy Group and its consortium partners have been awarded the Hydrogen in Mobility (SWIM) subsidy, valued at nearly €5 million.
Part of the funding will be used to establish a large-scale hydrogen refueling station in Venlo, while €4 million will go toward the purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles for their logistics partners. The project is led by a consortium that includes E-Lions, SJT Venlo B.V., Looop Logistics B.V., Nijsen Company, Medicura, Connect Autolease, and other forward-thinking organizations.
The development of hydrogen refueling stations in Venlo and the deployment of hydrogen vehicles will accelerate the energy transition not only in Limburg but also throughout the Netherlands.
In addition to Vissers Energy Group's consortium, several national collaborations are also benefiting from this subsidy, underscoring the increasing recognition of hydrogen as a viable solution for zero-emission mobility.
