Vissers Energy Group has officially signed an agreement for the construction of a new hydrogen refueling station at the upcoming EnergyHub in Venlo.

Scheduled to open in June 2026, the station will feature a daily capacity of 1,000 kilograms of hydrogen and will be equipped with both 350 bar and 700 bar dispensers. This will make it suitable for a wide range of vehicles, from passenger cars to heavy-duty trucks.

The hydrogen station will play a key role in the broader EnergyHub concept in Venlo, where Vissers Energy Group is creating a comprehensive mobility hub offering traditional and renewable fuels, electric charging infrastructure, food concepts, car wash facilities, and other services.

“With this hydrogen station, we strengthen Venlo’s position as a key logistics hotspot and improve international hydrogen traffic between the Netherlands and Germany. It’s an important step towards zero-emission mobility,” said Gerbert Vissers, CEO of Vissers Energy Group.

For the development of the hydrogen refueling station, the company is partnering with Resato Hydrogen Technology, a company specializing in the design and delivery of complete hydrogen refueling solutions.

The project underscores Vissers Energy Group’s ambition to be a frontrunner in the energy transition and to support the decarbonization of mobility in the region and beyond.
