New locations in California, Florida, Illinois, and Massachusetts bring high-speed charging to key travel and urban hubs.

bp pulse has announced the latest expansion of its ultrafast electric vehicle (EV) charging network in the United States, adding new locations in California, Florida, Illinois, and Massachusetts.
The newly launched sites feature charging speeds of up to 400kW and are strategically located near major transit routes, airports, and retail areas to support growing demand for convenient EV infrastructure. New additions to the network are part of bp pulse’s broader push to build out a nationwide charging ecosystem, with a focus on high-traffic and high-need locations.
Located at 177 Airport Blvd in South San Francisco, just 3 miles from San Francisco International Airport, the new California site is designed to serve ride-hail drivers, EV rental returns, and airport travelers with 12 charging bays.
A new Boston site is bp pulse’s first in Massachusetts, equipped with 20 charging bays. Positioned near Logan International Airport in partnership with Hertz, the site supports the company’s strategy of building hubs at airport-adjacent locations.
Located in the Joliet City Centre, the new Illinois station sits at a Thorntons convenience site, catering to drivers with six charging bays offering 150kW charging power.
Two new bp pulse sites have opened at Thorntons locations in Florida, both equipped with six charging bays and offering up to 150kW charging potency.
These new hubs reinforce bp pulse’s mission to offer fast, accessible charging where EV drivers need it most, helping to support the broader transition to electric mobility across the U.S.
