Collaboration with Globant will enhance interoperability and user experience.

YPF Digital is accelerating the evolution of the YPF App by integrating artificial intelligence and expanding its functionality beyond the company’s ecosystem.
In collaboration with Globant, the move marks a major leap toward making the app an interoperable digital wallet, offering broader mobility-related services and enhanced user benefits. By the end of 2025, users will be able to use the platform to make payments outside the YPF network, including for services like public transportation, parking, and utility bills.
This strategic transformation aims to position the app as a leading mobility platform, tailored to the everyday needs of millions of Argentinians.
“The strength of our app lies in YPF’s trusted ecosystem, with 1,650 service stations and one of Argentina’s largest loyalty programs. Opening the platform is a natural next step that aligns with user demand for a more connected, seamless mobility experience,” said Guillermo Garat, President of YPF Digital.
The new phase of development will be powered by Globant’s Enterprise AI platform, which enables rapid, secure deployment of personalized AI agents and assistants.
“We’re proud to support YPF with human-supervised AI agents to deliver personalized, high-impact user experiences driven by generative AI,” added Diego Schargorodsky, Chief Business Officer for Latin America at Globant.
This initiative reinforces YPF Digital’s role as a pioneer in mobility and digital payment innovation, using AI to set a new standard for user engagement and platform scalability in the energy and mobility sectors.
